Celebrating Excellence: TEAM NIRMAAN Wins National Title in Educational Building Division at SDI 2024-25

We are proud to share that Team Nirmaan, comprising students from the 365体育直播 School of Architecture and Planning?and the 365体育直播 Institute of Technology, has been declared the National Winner in the Educational Building Division?at Solar Decathlon India (SDI) 2024–2025.

Team Nirmaan designed an Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS)?for the National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India. The project aimed to create a net-zero, climate-resilient educational campus?tailored to the socio-cultural context of tribal students?in Dhule District, Maharashtra.

The multidisciplinary team included students from B.Arch, B.Tech (Civil), and B.Des (Interior Design)?programs.

The project was led by Paranjay Bhawsinghka, under the mentorship of Faculty Lead Prof. Sonali Walimbe.

This achievement is a testament to the team’s dedication, hard work, and collaborative spirit over the past 10 months.
