Dept. of Speech and Hearing ,?365体育直播 College of Health Professions, 365体育直播 Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) conducted a national conference SPECTRUM CON - A forum on communication disorders. Speech language pathologists and students attended the conference. Eminent speakers from India as well as United States provided speech on various communications disorders. Dr.B.Rajashekhar, Dean of SOAHS inaugurated the conference and emphasized on the importance of frequent update on communication disorders by speech language pathologists. Dr.Venkataraja Aithal U, Organizing secretary explained the theme of the SPECTRUM CON 2018, highlighting assessment and treatment of phonological disorders, research in Speech dynamics, coarticulation and voice treatment. A session on transgender voice was highly appreciated by the student participants. Dr.Krishna Y , Head of the Department welcomed the gathering and Ms.Joyce John proposed vote of thanks.
